Patsy Nita Jett passed away on August 7, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Canyon, Texas at the age of 86. She was born on May 28, 1935 in Vernon, Texas to Clifford and Eula Clines.
Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Stinnett with Connie Freriks officiating. Service is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with a gift to the Kevin Freriks Scholarship or the Alzheimer's Association.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Leon Jett; son-in-law Jerry Grange; sisters Peggy Sutherland and Barbara Miller; brothers-in-law Ralph Jett, Bill Jett and Richard Jett; and sisters-in-law Barbara Jett and Sue Ming.
She is survived by her three children Charles Kevin Jett, Kathy Grange, and Kerry Jett; grandchildren Brad Jett, Kelli Hernandez, Jaime Grange, and Cody Jett; great-grandchildren Caiden, Alyssa, Kenli, Zoe, JoLee, Gavin, other extended family. Also brother Charles Keith and wife Leslie; brother-in-law Ted Jett and wife Sharon; sister-in-law Freeda Jett; and several nieces and nephews. She loved all of her family very much.
Patsy married Charles Jett at her grandparents’ home in Crowell, Tx. and moved to Stinnett where Charles worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 40 years. Patsy worked as the secretary at the First Baptist Church in Stinnett as well as Director of Girls Auxiliary. She also worked various other jobs over the years. Patsy was an avid golfer, great seamstress, loved to cook, hiking, and enjoyed traveling after they retired. She always greeted everyone with a smile and a giggle!
