Patsy Keranen

Patsy Irene Keranen, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, surrounded by her husband and daughters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Celebration Family Church with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating.  For those able to attend Patsy’s homegoing celebration, we would love for you to wear your best bling in her honor.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.   The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the funeral home in Borger.  In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with a gift to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, Illinois, 60601.

Patsy was born July 25, 1947, in Rotan, Texas to Woodrow Bunch and Dorothy Bartley Bunch.  She grew up on a farm and attended high school in Borger, Texas, where she resided until just a few years ago! Patsy met her forever love, Ronnie Keranen, in high school and married him in 1972. They built a beautiful life together and raised three daughters, Corisa, Stacey, and Tamra. Nothing brought more pride to her life than being grandma to 7 precious grandchildren.   Most importantly, she loved and had given her life to our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Aside from being a stay-at-home mom and devoting her life to taking care of her daughters, she used to love to spend time with her mom and siblings. When the girls were little, she enjoyed making beautiful cakes and sewing dresses for them. After they were grown and had children of their own, Patsy was always delighted spending time with and taking care of her grandkids. She also loved attending and serving at her church with her sister, Carolyn. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, painting, stitching, making jewelry, and especially listening to music and dancing!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Dorothy Bunch.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ronnie of Amarillo; daughters, Corisa Earls and husband Brian of Stinnett; Stacey Jodal of Amarillo, Tamra Graham and husband Justin of Amarillo; grandchildren, Kody Tosh and wife Emery, Cheyann Earls, Austin Tosh, Cadence Jodal, Ashby Graham, Peyton Earls, Londyn Graham; sisters, Carolyn Keel and husband Bill of Fritch, Linda Thompson and husband Troy of Amarillo; brothers, Kevin Bunch of Borger, Brent Bunch and wife Gina of Georgetown; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
