Paul Geyer Aleskin

Paul Geyer Aleskin passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2013 in Borger Texas. He was 61 years old. Family and friends will gather in Austin, Texas the first weekend in August to remember Paul.

Paul, or Geyer, as long time friends and family called him, was born on December 14, 1951 in Borger, Texas to Paul and Linioel Aleskin. Paul is survived by his two sons. His oldest son Jordan and his wife Stacy and two children, Drew and Allie live in Austin, Texas. His youngest son Dalton lives in Dallas. Paul is also survived by his sister Jan Rasmussen and her husband Jon, and their two sons Sean and Weston who reside in Boulder, Colorado. He is also survived by his sons mother, Becky Botkin, also originally from Borger, now residing in Austin.

Paul moved from Borger to Austin after high school, and spent much of his adult life there. He loved the rolling hills, water, and music of Austin. He was an avid swimmer his entire life and also enjoyed playing tennis. In his earlier years in Borger he won medals for the Borger High School golf team. He also loved to read and held a great affection for dogs.

In his later years, Paul returned to Borger to help with his ailing father. Paul remained in Borger after his father died, helping his mother and many of her aging friends. Over the past couple of years Pauls health had deteriorated, and so family and friends take comfort in knowing he is now at peace.
