Paul Henry Yarbrough, 91, of Borger went to be with Granny and the boys and his sweet Jesus Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 6:15 a.m. The battle is over and the victory has been won.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 3rd, at Minton Memorial Chapel with Eugene Yarbrough and Terry Yarbrough officiating. Interment will be in Eastlawn Garden in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Paul was born September 28, 1919 to Perry Francis Yarbrough and Clara Birdie in Rosston, TX and had been a Borger resident since 1945. He married Juanita Foster on June 24, 1945 in Forestburg, TX and she preceded him in death in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his three sons Paul, Larry and Johnny Yarbrough, two sisters Velma and Audrey and two brothers Aubrey and Cas Robert.
He retired as a warehouseman for J.M. Huber Corp after 33 years. He was a member of the Church of God. Paul was a veteran of WW II. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 1945 and was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery for his actions as a messenger. He was also a P.O.W. for seven months in Germany.
Paul is survived by two sons Terry Yarbrough of Granbury, TX, Paul Green and Brandi of Amarillo, two daughters Cynthia Reynolds and husband Bud and Teri Green all of Borger, daughterinlaw Kay Yarbrough of Borger and two grandchildren Jonathan Yarbrough and wife Liz of Borger, Rachel Carotti and husband Matt of Norfolk, VA, and greatgrandchildren Derek Mathews, Ruby Yarbrough, Emily Broom, Lane Broom and Chatham Broom all of Borger.

There will be a visitation for family and friends on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
