Phillip Allen

Phillip Max Allen, 81, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Funeral service will be held 11 am on Friday, June 8, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with Mr. Jake Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the funeral home in Fritch. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the Family Life Center at First Southern Baptist Church, P.O. Box 358, Fritch, Texas 79036.

Phillip was born August 12, 1936 in Roff, Oklahoma to Arthur Allen and Helen Marcella Eastwood Allen. He loved the Lord and his family and his First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.

Phillip retired from Phillips Petroleum Company, Industrial Hy​giene and also from Canadian River Municipal Water Authority as a Safety Supervisor.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Wright Allen of Fritch; children, Sharon Elaine Wright of Amarillo, Bruce Allen Wright of Borger, Donnie Allen of Oklahoma City, Darin Allen and wife Edie of Fritch, John Allen of Phoenix, Dana Rodriguez and Jamie Garcia of Borger, Jennifer Helms and husband Chris of Amarillo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Ed Allen and wife Wilma of Garland; sisters, Joyce Valentine of Garland and Catherine Hoffmeister of Garland.
