Phillip Shelton, 70, our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away on December 15, 2020. Memorial donations may be made in Phillip's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Pastor James Stephens of 1st Christian Church of Stinnett officiating. Burial is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Phil was born September 27, 1950 in Borger to Calvin William Shelton and Anna Mae Walton Shelton. He was a self employed welder, a member of the Salt Fork Craftsman Blacksmith Group and the Lake Meredith Gun Club. He married Janie Montrose May 19, 2012 in Borger. He loved welding, remote control cars, drones, shooting his guns, photography and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers Jimmie, Grant and Smitty.
Phillip is survived by his wife Janie, his daughter Jennifer Mitchell and her husband Chace of Fritch, his two grandchildren Chace and Baylee, his brother David Shelton of Borger, his sister Carol Ann Moore of Guymon and a nephew Kevin Shelton of Amarillo and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will welcome friends from 5:00 until 7:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
