R.L. Baker, 81, died August 22, 2011 in Borger.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Fellowship Baptist church with Rev. Bill Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastlawn garden at Highland Park cemetery, under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

R.L. was born January 19, 1930 to Raymond Pete and Mary Ellen Baker in Oakwood, Oklahoma. He married Della F. Chambless April 22, 1950 in Thomas, Oklahoma. R.L lived in Borger over 60 years and was a Baptist. He was employed with Phillips Petroleum from February 29, 1952 to October 28, 1985 retiring from the instrument shop.

Survivors include 2 sons Casey Baker and his wife Jyme of Porter, Texas, Stacey J. Bud Baker and his wife Susie of Borger a daughter Cecillia Sis Harvey and her husband John of Borger 2 brothers Millage Baker, Snip Baker and wife Penny, all of Fay Oklahoma, 3 sisters Mable Lovelace of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Lahoma Beckloff and her husband George, Naomi Anson, all of Oakwood, Oklahoma, 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Della Faye, May 16, 2001, 3 sisters, and a grandson Austin in 1997.
