R H Gib Gibbons, 80, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in Borger, Texas.BRBRGraveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Scott Wallace of Riverview Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRGib was born on May 26, 1927 in Collingsworth County, TX and had been a Borger resident since June, 1957. He was owner of Gib's Barber Shop and served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge 1242. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Nannie Rebecca Gibbons, his first wife, Vernis and one daughter - JoAnn Henderson.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Cloyce Gibbons of the home, son - Toby Nix of Amarillo, two daughters - Sandra Tommy Anthis of Spring, Tx., Debbie Eric Forseth of Borger, sister - Opal Molton of Poteau, Ok., onegrandson - Michael Forseth of Kerrville, Tx., three granddaughters - Erin Gibson of Woodward, Ok., Jaylin Henderson of Amarillo, Kalee Henderson of Borger, one great-grandson and three great-granddaughters and two special friends - Toby Nixof Amarillo and Tonia Nix of Carrollton, Tx.

Casket bearers will be Troy Fletcher, R. T. Bearden, Cornell McCormack, Alan McNutt, Maurice Petit and Dennis Hood.
