Randall Dwight Draper, 54, of Fritch died September 24, 2012 in Lubbock from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Randall was born January 29, 1958 in Borger to R. D. and Reita Francis Draper and was a longtime resident of this area. He was a carpenter and craftsman and would fix things for anybody. Randy was a 1976 graduate of Fritch High School and worked for Santa Fe Railroad as a Welding Foreman for 21 years.
He married Penny Shoemake May 25, 1979 in Clovis, NM. He was a faithful member of 1st Southern Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and was involved with Youth Activities. He loved the Lord and loved people.
Randy was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and camping and he loved his motorcycles.
He was a loving caring husband, father, son and brother.
He was preceded in death by his mother Reita Draper in 2006.
Randall is survived by his wife Penny, his father R. D. Draper of Fritch, his two daughters Amber Edwards and husband Rodney of Amarillo and Mandy Cunningham of Dodge City, KS, his two sisters Deena Graham and husband Buddy of Duncan, OK and Darla Riley of Fritch and five grandchildren.
Randy will be dearly missed by many.
Family will be at 705 S. Cornell in Fritch.
