Ray Ardry

Ray Ardry, 81, of Sanford passed away Friday June 9, 2017 peacefully at his home.

Graveside services will be 2 pm. Wednesday June 14, 2017 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo with Mr. Spencer Blackwelder of the Franklin Street Church of Christ officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ray Ardry was born January 23, 1936 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Pete and Elizabeth Jones Ardry. He married Kay Gilman November 23, 1957 in Sunray, and served his country proudly in the United States Army. Ray retired from the Asarco plant as a security guard, and was a member of the Franklin Street Church of Christ. He loved to fish, and had been an area resident since 1957.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; and three sisters.

Ray is survived by his wife Kay; his son Daniel Ardry of Sanford; two daughters Kathy Ronco and husband Chuck of Amarillo, Rose Boyd of Sanford; his sister Faye Massey of Ft. Worth; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
