Raymond Contreras

Funeral services for Raymond Benites Contreras, 65, will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Ammon Weber officiating. Interment will follow Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Contreras died at his home Monday January 9, 2012.

Raymond was a member and a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a retired Welder. He has lived in this area for the past 40 years and was a friend to everyone he met.

Raymond married Consuelo Connie Deluna July 2, 1962 in Lubbock, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Matiana Contreras, son Robert and daughter Sally and his sister Beatrice Gonzales.

Raymond is survived by his wife Connie, 3 sons Danny Contreras and wife Margaret of Stinnett, Michael Contreras and wife Heather of Borger and Tony Contreras of Stinnett, 2 daughters Lollie Dillard and husband Jimmy of Borger and Olga Kelley and husband Gary of Stinnett, 3 brothers Rudy Contreras and wife Hope of Stinnett, Victor Contreras and wife Katrina of Bluffton, IN and Cresencio Contreras of , 4 sisters Alicia Mota and husband Antelmo of Fritch, Margarita Harshman of Borger, Rosalia Martinez and husband Leo of Borger, Rosalinda Contreras of Oklahoma City, OK, 18 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.

Casket Bearers will be his grandsons, Chris, Paul, Andy, Justin, Michael and Bruce.
