Raymond Richardson

Raymond Dee Richardson, 92, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Church of Christ at Borger. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Raymond was born July 29, 1926 in Stephenville, Texas to Thomas Wiley Richardson and Iva Edna Wallace Richardson. He proudly served his country in WWII in the United States Navy. He married Billie Faye Bauer on March 3, 1951 in Stephenville. They moved to Borger in 1954. He worked for many years on the corner of Tenth and Main for Gunn Bros and Ted Lokey Tire Co. Later he worked for Spradling Drilling Co until his retirement. Raymond served as an Elder for 30 years at the Church of Christ at Borger. Raymond was an avid photographer. Being from a large family they loved to get together and sing gospel songs.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Billie Richardson of Borger; son, Larry Richardson and wife Donna of Fritch; granddaughter, Jessica Snead and husband Jimmy of Lubbock; grandson, Darren Richardson and wife Amelia of Fritch; two great-grandsons, Waylen and Witten Richardson; and a great-granddaughter, Kambreigh Snead.
The family will welcome visitors at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, January 7, 2019.
