Reba Kay Howes Reining, 75 of Panhandle died on Valentine 's Day Feb. 14, 2017 in Panhandle. Rosary will be at 6:00 pm Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Reba was born March 24, 1941 in Wheeler County, TX to Earl and Etta Lee (Owen) Dennis. She was a medical records clerk and also a switchboard operator. She loved her family and to redecorate. She married James Reining September 9, 1982 at St. Francis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Barry Howes in 1976, five brothers and one sister.
Reba is survived by her husband James; sons, Russell Barry Howes and wife Stacy of Panhandle, Ken Howes and wife Svetlana of Round Rock, TX; brothers, Bruce Dennis and wife Karen of Hollis, OK, Chess Dennis and wife JoAnna of Amarillo, Charles Dennis of Amarillo, three grandchildren Sophia, Ryan and Jared.
