Reba Thompson

Reba Lea Thompson, 85, of Stinnett, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Stinnett Cemetery. The family will welcome friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Reba was born August 3, 1931 in Pringle, Texas to Orville O. and Nette Bell (Doss) Smith. She has been a longtime resident of Stinnett and was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ. Reba loved to garden and to do craft work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Glenn Smith and Don Smith.
Reba is survived by her son, Roy Don Thompson and wife, Linda of Stinnett; daughters, Cheryl Coiner of Stinnett, and Glynna Guerrero and husband, Johnny of Coleman, TX; sister, Barbara Chumley and husband, Dick of Stratford; grandchildren, Britt Thompson, Shea Barker, Joe Don Watson, and Brittnee Coiner; and six great-grandchildren.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Reba's name to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312, website: diabetes.org/honor.
