Reita Draper

Reita Carol Francis Draper left this earth and entered heaven Saturday, October 14, 2006 at her home in Fritch , Texas . Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Winters, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funral Directors of Fritch. BR Reita was born November 10, 1930, in Chillicothe , Texas . She was the sixth child of eight children born to Logan J. Francis and Mary Etta Carrell Francis. She graduated from Chillicothe High School and then attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville . She also attended Frank Phillips College where she studied Art. Reita was a gifted artist and she taught many to paint. Reita and R. D. Draper were married August 8, 1948 in Chillicothe , Texas . Their first home was in Borger , Texas and they have lived in Fritch for the past 49 years. Reita is survived by her husband of 58 years, 2 Daughters Deena Graham and her husband Buddy of Duncan, OK and Darla Riley and husband Larry of Lawton, OK and 1 Son Randy Draper and wife Penny of Fritch, 6 Grandchildren and 23 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by her 5 Brothers W. D. Francis and wife Jennie of Granite Shoals, TX, O. A. Francis and wife Myrt of Millsap, TX, Kenneth Francis of Granite Shoals, TX, Denny Francis and wife Delois of Farmers Branch, TX and Barry Francis and wife Diana of Amarillo and 1 Sister Dolores Francis Thomas of Wichita Falls, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Logan and Mary Etta, her sister Lorene Coffey and other extended family members. Reita and R. D. are long time members of the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch. She leaves countless friends and family who will always cherish the memories of her loving, kind, tender and patient life. We have all been blessed with the Lords wonderful gift our precious Reita. Casket bearers will be Mike Draper, Pete Francis, Ken L. Francis, Mark Francis, Kyler Thomas and Barry L. Francis. Honorary bearers will be Steve Draper, Terry Barns, Carson Draper, Clifton Draper, David Draper, Robert Black, Red Black, Jerry Black, Roger Dale Francis, Olyn Francis, Ronnie Coffee, David M.
