Rena Vantassel

Rena Evelyn Laird Vantassel, 88, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Conroe, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Jake Minton, officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Beatitudes at Westlawn under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Rena was born on September 7, 1921 to Wade Evelyn McKinney and had been a lifetime resident of Borger. She was a homemaker and loved bingo. She was preceded in death by her son, Pete Priest, daughter, Wanda Jones, five brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her son Harold Priest and wife Karon of Willis, TX, eleven grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren.
