Reverend Dennis Randle Richardson Sr., 69, peacefully entered into his heavenly home on January 2nd, 2018, encircled by his family. He was born in Ralls, Texas on September 8th, 1948 to the late Linden and Pearl Richardson.
Dennis graduated from Stinnett High School in 1967. He married his best friend and love of his life, Peggy Hawthorne Richardson, on July 9th, 1969 at First Assembly of God in Stinnett, Texas.
Dennis loved and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his time in service, they returned to Hutchinson County to raise their family. Throughout the years, he served on numerous committees and boards in Hutchinson County for the betterment of the community.
Dennis was a dedicated man to his family, friends and a great man of vision. He began in the Pipeline Oil and Gas Industry in the 1970's which led him and his dear friend, to start Gas Gathering Specialists. He was the Owner and President of GGS Inc. for over 35 years.
He was a devoted servant to the Lord and became an Ordained Minister. His passion for studying and teaching God's Word was beyond understanding. Dennis was the Pastor of First Assembly of God in Stinnett, Texas and was actively involved in the Ministerial Alliance in the community to help others. Dennis was a generous man, who stood firm and believed in God's Word and was always unknowingly helping others in need. He also served on the board of the Pleasant Hills Children Home in Fairfield, Texas. He was dedicated and loved his church family.
Dennis was a great man of passion. He loved hunting from a boy and shared that love with his friends and family. The memories shared during hunting trips with friends and the love he had to hunt with his family will never be able to be placed in words.
Dennis was an honorable and respected man who was devoted to his family. He has forever impacted so many lives.
He is preceded in death by his parents L.D. and Pearl Richardson.
Survivors include his wife Peggy of 48 years. Their children Dennis Richardson II of Borger, Andrea Nivens and husband Michael of Amarillo, Texas. Grandson Austin Richardson and wife Rachelle of Lubbock, Texas. Grandson Nash Richardson of Borger, Texas. Brothers David Richardson and wife Barbara of Amarillo, Texas and Daniel Richardson and wife Linda of Stinnett, Texas. Special Sister-in-law Jeanette Zufelt of Albuquerque, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 am on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at First Assembly of God in Stinnett with Rev. Billy Nickell officiating. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
