Rhonda Kay Cordell

Rhonda Kay Cordell, 60, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 26, 2024, in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Adam Mize officiating.   Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to City of Fritch, in the memo line put Animal Control, PO Box 758, Fritch, Texas 79036, 

Rhonda was born July 8, 1963, in Amarillo to Sammy Elliott and Lenda Baker Elliott.  She married Pete Kessler on May 25, 2009, in Mesquite, Texas.   Rhonda enjoyed drawing, fast cars and was an avid animal lover.  Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandkids. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sammy and Della Elliott and Delbert and Lenda Franklin.

Survivors include her husband, Pete Kessler of Seagoville; son, Kevin Hamilton of Seagoville; grandchildren, Seraphin Hamilton, Nathan Hamilton, Anya Hamilton of Weatherford, Texas; brothers, Jerry Elliott and wife Ofelia of Stinnett, Randy Elliott and wife Jennifer of Amarillo; cousins, Kathy Guthrie and husband Stephen of Fritch, Steven King and wife Beatrice of Fritch; and a host of extended family.
