Rhonda Sperry

Rhonda Jean Sperry, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, in Amarillo.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Westlawn Memorial Park, officiated by Retired Minister Albert Green, of New Braunfels, TX.  Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.  The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 31 at the funeral home.

Rhonda was born October, 8, 1951 in Borger to George and Norma Ritter Baxter.  She was a life long resident of Borger.  Rhonda married Floyd Ray Sperry, July 11, 1980 in Borger. She was a teacher at Borger Independent  School District for 24 years and a member of Keeler Baptist Church.  Rhonda loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and getting her nails done.   She was very friendly and loved to talk to anyone.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Rick Baxter and one grandchild, Sarrah Ennis.

Survivors include her daughter Jeorj York and husband Jason of Amarillo; her sons, Craig Sperry and wife Jennifer of Canyon and David Sperry and wife, Tamera of Skellytown; and a brother Glenn Baxter of Costa Rica.  Rhonda was blessed with eleven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
