Richard Goodwin, 81, died Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 in Amarillo, TexasBRBRServices will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Stinnett with Rev. Bill Burkholder officiating. Masonic Graveside rites will be under the auspices of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355 in Stinnett Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Goodwin was born on May 16, 1925 in Claude Tx. He was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson County. He served in the US Navy during WW II and was owneroperator of Goodwin Pharmacy in Stinnett. He married Carol Reeves on January 12, 1957 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. He was a member of the VFW and the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355. BRBRHe was preceded in death by his son, Rick in 1981, one brother, Curtis Goodwin and his parents, Willy and Mary Goodwin.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Carol Goodwin of the home, son - Rodney Goodwin and wife, Angela of Fritch, sister - Annabeth Williams of Stinnett, and two grandchildren - Jarrod Goodwin and Jacob Goodwin.
Casket bearers will be Calvin Woodard, Jack Lasater, Jr., Billy Murphy, Barrett Larkey, Mike Williams and Oliver Surber.
