Richard Meyer

Richard L. "Dickie" Meyer, 75, of Borger died Monday, October 5, 2015 in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, at Westlawn Memorial Park, with Nathan Bailey officiating. Immediately following the service, there will be a Celebration of Life in the Catalyst Building of Faith Covenant Church. There will be a family visitation at the Funeral home from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday.

Dickie was born in Phillips, Texas to Clarence and Dessie Meyer. He graduated from Borger High School in 1959 and attended West Texas State University, where he played football. Dickie was a supervisor at the Budweiser Warehouse.

Dickie was preceded in death by his parents, great-granddaughter, Chander Baichtal in 2013, and a brother, Eddie Meyer in 2014.

Survivors are his daughter, Michelle Bailey and husband, Philip of Borger; grandchildren, Amanda Baichtal and husband, Shad of Canyon, Kursti Chavarry and husband, Bryan of Angel Fire, New Mexico; and one great-grandson, Noah Chavarry.
