Richard Michael Reining, 69, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at St. Theresa Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Panhandle Cemetery. A private family rosary will be recited at St. Theresa Catholic Church.

Richard was born March 24, 1950 in Amarillo to Rose Marie Haiduk Reining and Vernon Anthony Reining.  He worked as a backhoe operator for K & K Construction.  Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting and rooting for anyone playing against the Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James Daniels, Mary Ann, Joan Carroll and Mary Catherine.

Survivors include his sons, Keith Reining of Panhandle, Heath Reining and wife Jennifer of Panhandle; daughter, Keena Reining of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Masyn, Gabriella, Zachary, Ashlynn; great grandson, Landon;  brothers, Gary Reining and wife Debbie, Robert Reining and wife Ricki, Howard Reining and wife Penny, Patrick Reining and wife LaDonna all of Panhandle; sisters, Marie Elliott of San Antonio, Dorothy Mann and husband Kenny of Amarillo, Margaret Reining of Amarillo, Janice Freeman and husband Andy of Panhandle, Betty Bromley and husband Bill of Amarillo, Josephine Wilcox and husband Terry of Amarillo, Monica Greenwood and husband Scott of Burlingame, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
