Richard Schoch

Richard D. Schoch, 83, of Amarillo, formerly of Midland and Borger, died Saturday July 21, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Burial will be under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger, Texas.

Richard was born Sept. 18, 1923 at Kalamazoo, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan Tech 1948. He married Helen Walivaarra Nov. 27, 1948 in Detroit, Mich. She preceded him in death in 1984. He served in the US Army durring WWII and was a member of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355, and was a York Rite Mason. He was a Metallurgical Engineer with Phillips Petroleum retiring 1985.

He is survived by two, sons Fritz and Becky Schoch of Midland, Texas, Kurt and Margaret Schoch of Amarillo, Texas and six grandchildren.
