Rickie Blevins

Rickie Lynn Blevins, 60, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm Friday, July 28, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Fritch with Rev. Danny Courtney and Mr. Larry Morris officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Rickie was born January 23, 1957 in Wheeler, Texas to Cecil Douglas Blevins and Ruth Wendland Blevins. Rickie never met a stranger and was a true people person. He volunteered at Living Waters for many years. Rickie enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-love, "Pops" Irvin Marsh; and son, James Irvin "J.D." Scroggins.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Blevins of the home; son, Rickie Blevins, Jr. and wife Misty of Borger; daughters, Sabrina Davis of Borger, JoAnna Scroggins of
Borger; nine grandchildren, Skylar, Stetson, Slade, Sadie, Sierra, Brian, William, Trisha, Jamari; two brothers, Larry Morris and wife Easter of Midland, Terry Morris of Midland and three sisters.
