Ricky Sloan

Ricky D. Sloan, 54, of Borger died Saturday December 10, 20011 in Borger. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Forsythe Officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ricky was born March 22, 1957 at Oklahoma City to Leon and Della Sloan. He married Sherry Hope November 9, 1975 at Borger. He worked as a police officer for Borger, Fritch and also a deputy for Hutchinson County. He retired after twenty years at Wesco where he was manager. Ricky was a member of Bible Baptist Church. His Kids and grandkids were his life. He loved to help people. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Johnnie and Chucky.

He is survived by his wife Sherry of the home. two sons Michael and wife Taryn of Amarillo and Casey of Borger. Daughter Brandy Sloan Cooper and husband Chad of Gruver. 3 brothers Larry of Borger, Danny of Jones, Oklahoma and David Graham of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren Michalyn Sloan, Hayden Cooper and Kaelyn Cooper.
