Robert Harrington

Robert E. "Robin" Harrington, 70, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Borger. Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the First Baptist Church Chapel, with Pastor Charlie Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.

Robin was born October 15, 1946 in Borger to Merle Floyd and Alice Louise (Miller) Harrington, Sr. He proudly served his country in the United States Army with service as a Staff Sargent in Vietnam. He married Mary Beth Ray on February 1, 1986 in Borger. Robin was a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved photography, to travel, and woodworking.

Robin was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Clyde Lane Harrington, and niece, Shelly Ray.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; daughters, Lee Ann Nutt of Tomball, TX and Merle Ann Harrington of Austin; brother Merle "Buddy" Floyd Harrington Jr. of Arlington; sister, Mary Klein of Georgetown, TX; grandchildren, Michael Nutt, Rachel Nutt, Rowan Niemeyer.
