Stinnett Robert Paul Bob Price, 80, of Stinnett passed May 14th in Amarillo, Texas following a family prayer at his bedside. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday May 17th at Stinnett Church of Christ with Mr. Jim York and Mr. Zeb Sailors officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Bob was born July 3, 1927 in Crane, Texas to Jim and Muriel Price. He married Inez Gunkel Oct. 10, 1945 and spent the last sixty three years of his life with his beloved wife. Bob was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, past Master of Plemons Masonic Lodge, and member of the Unity Masonic Lodge. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army. Bob was employed by J.M. Huber for many years and later owned and managed C D Salvage. He was preceeded in death by his parents and a son - Rusty in 1953. Survivors include his wife Inez of Stinnett; a daughter - Donna Simons and her husband Rodney of Borger; 2 brothers - Ralph Price of Plainview and Joe Price of Hiawatha, KS; a sister - Betty Blair of Oceanside, CA; 2 grandsons - Brad and wife Andrea Simons of Carrollton, TX and Bobby Simons of Dallas; 2 great granddaughters - Summer Simons and Claire Simons both of Carrollton, TX. Pallbearers include Jack Tolleson, Jon Mark Tolleson, Bobby Tolleson, Brice Manasco, Ralph Price and Bobby Simons. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk in honor of Summer Simons at 8111 LBJ Freeway, Suite 425, Dallas, TX 75251. Although Bob passed due to complications associated with melanoma cancer, he also served a critical role in helping his great granddaughter battle leukemia. BR
