Robin Anderson

Robin Clay Anderson, 73, passed from this life Sunday, January 8, 2023 at his home.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Dietz of 1st Baptist Church of Groom officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Robin was born March 14, 1949 in Borger to James Henry Anderson and Arkle LaNell Buster Anderson.  He graduated from Borger High School and was a lifetime resident of Borger and worked as a carpenter in his own construction company.  He was married to Sherry Harris September 19, 1969 at Bunavista Baptist Church in Borger.  He enjoyed watching football, fishing, scratch offs and hiring and training people to work in his company.  He loved spending time with his grandkids and music and playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Oma Hackencamp and his brother in law Howard Vanlandingham.

Robin is survived by his wife of fifty-three years Sherry, his son Dusty Anderson of Borger, his two daughters Mistie Boren and her husband Noe of Houston and Tiffany Anderson Johnson of Borger, his seven grandchildren Drew, Garrett, Makayla, Austin, Natalie, Gavin and Ryan, and his sister Talhia Vanlandingham of Seminole, OK.
