Rodney Kimmell

Rodney Dwayne Kimmell, 61 of Stinnett, died on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He was born August 20, 1956 in Odessa, Texas to Kenneth Melvin and Winifred Clark (Bryson) Kimmell. Rodney married the love of his life, Carrie Hearon on July 20, 1979 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Healdton, Oklahoma. They have lived in Hutchinson County since 1980 where he was a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved to play golf, camping and especially his precious grandchildren. Rodney was a schoolboard member at PSPCISD for seventeen years and was a Sales Representative at K. Allred Oil Field Service.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie; parents, Kenneth and Winifred Kimmell of Healdton, Oklahoma; son, Wesley Kimmell and wife, Tiffany of Pampa, Texas; daughters, Brandi Fairweather and husband, Derek of Stinnett and Kassie Willadsen of the home; grandchildren, Kaden Fairweather, Kenzi Fairweather, Mallory Kimmell, Kent Kimmell, and Brinlee Fairweather; sisters, Nancy Percival and husband, Harold of Mustang, Oklahoma, Judy Dickenson and Janice Smoot and husband, Steve all of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Services for Rodney will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 23, at the First Baptist Church of Stinnett, officiated by Pastor Kade Morrison. Burial will follow at the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors. Family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 22 at the funeral home.
