Ronald Boyd

Ronald Lane Boyd, 78, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Per his wishes no services will be held.

Ronald was born November 11, 1944, in Odessa, Texas to Eldon Leroy “Casey” Boyd and Alice Mae Davis.  He graduated from Borger High School, University of Texas at Arlington, and The School of Hard Knocks.  Ronald proudly served as a Sargent in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  His favorite memories were Sunday dinners and being at deer camps.  When asked what his greatest accomplishment in life was, he would reply, “raising two fine children.”  He will be remembered as being fair and honest, having love for God, his family, his friends, and his country.  Ronald enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eldon “Casey” Boyd; mother and stepfather, Alice Beene and husband Donald; and sister, Sue Hill.

Survivors include his son, Jason Boyd and wife Sherri of Borger; daughter, Essela Boyd of Borger; grandchildren, Taylor Boyd, Austin Boyd and wife Savannah, Bailee Boyd, Addison Boyd, Em’rynn Woolsey; great grandson, Parker; sister, Martha Novotny and husband Dick of Amarillo; and a host of extended family.
