Ronald Jay Kueffler, 76, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019.
Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Ronald was born December 23, 1942 in Great Falls, Montana to Herman Kueffler and Norma Thompson Kueffler. An avid baseball player, Ron was invited to play professionally for the Atlanta Braves, but chose to serve his country instead. He joined the United States Navy and served as a gunners mate on a destroyer during Vietnam. Ron had several jobs as he moved about the country they included working for Boeing Aircraft, Nabisco, Coca-Cola, bartender at the American Legion in Great Falls and manager at the Allsups in Buenavista. He was a jokester who loved to laugh and had a heart for people.
In lieu of flowers the family ask you honor his memory with a donation to any local dog rescue.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a child who died at birth; and a nephew, Richard Oeleis.
Survivors include his three children, Aaron, Brenda and Rhonda Kueffler of Great Falls, Montana; brother, Wayne Kueffler and wife Florence of Fritch; and numerous nieces and nephews including, Shawna Tindall of Borger, Steve Oeleis of Borger, Steven Kueffler of Shelby, Montana, Patrick Kueffler of Midwest City, Oklahoma, and Dennis Kueffler of Kentucky.
