Ronald Long

Ronald Long, 68 of Borger died Monday May 1st in Borger.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a visitation of Family and friends Wednesday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home.

Ronald "Ronnie" long was born September 13, 1948 in Vernon, TX to G. W. Long and Marjorie ( Ross ) Long. He was a Baptist and graduated from Borger High School in 1968. He married Debra Lewis Oct. 13, 1972 in Borger. He worked as a welder for J. M. Huber, Sherman Williams Paint, house parent for Cal Farley's for 5 years. After retiring from Wal-Mart he ran garage sales with his wife and father.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Margie, grandparents, nephew Doug and mother in law Betty Black.

Ronnie is survived by his father G. W. Long of Borger. Wife Debra of Borger. Daughters Vicki Thompson and husband Robert of Clinton, OK ; Anna Long of Borger. Brother Delwin Long and wife Lyndol of Borger. Sisters Debbie and Mike Jennings of Fritch; Susan and Joe Holland of Borger. Two grandchildren Nick and Gabe Long.
