Ronald Scroggins

Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Scroggins, 62, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Mark Long, officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will be receiving friends at 221 Oak Street in Borger.

Ronnie was born October 28, 1953 in Borger, Texas to Verna (House) and Carman Scroggins. He proudly served in the United States Army. He married Darla Sue Taylor on September 13, 1974 in Stinnett, Texas. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Nothing brought more joy to his life than spending time with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony Alan Scroggins; and brothers, Carl Scroggins, Paul Scroggins and Kenneth Scroggins.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Scroggins of the home; daughters, Tory Scroggins of Borger, Brenda Scroggins and husband Dwayne Downing of Birmingham, Alabama; adopted daughters, Jennifer Brown and husband Dewey of Giddings, Texas, Christa Wilkinson and husband Sonny of Stinnett; thirteen grandchildren, Verna, Falcon, William, Donavon, Kassandra, Miranda, Ashlyn, Jazzmine, Shaun, Brandon, Evie, Dakota, Diamond; two great grandchildren; brother, Jim Scroggins and wife Diane of Borger; and sisters, Rose Seals of Andrews and Joyce Green and husband Larry of San Angelo.
