Ronnie Dale Baker, 84, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the Minton Memorial Chapel under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ron was born on April 10, 1940, in Phillips, Texas to Fred Baker and Ruby McDonald Baker. He married Carol Wakeman on August 29, 1980, at Lake Meredith. Ron proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked and retired from Phillips. Ron enjoyed working in the yard and fishing. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruby Baker; son, Bruce Baker; sister, Treva Wilson; and brother, David Baker.

Survivors include his wife, Carol of McLean; son, Shawn Baker and wife Lori of Pflugerville, Texas; daughters, Sherri Leewright and husband Kelly of Dandridge, Tennessee, Suzanne Cotton and husband Chuck of Goodrich, Texas; daughter-in-law, Brandy Baker of Fritch; ten grandchildren; one great grandson; and a host of extended family.
