Fritch Roscoe Verdie Wilson, 71, of Fritch, died Saturday February 23 in Amarillo. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister officiating. Interment will follow in the Quial Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors. Pall Bearers will be Curtis Mills, Tommy Marshall, Larry Jameson, Hank Jameson, Tom Winegar and Jerry Williams. Roscoe was born March 17, 1936 to Robert and Opha Wilson in Collingsworth County, Texas. He married Judy Jameson on August 6, 1971 in Fritch. He was a member of the Fritch Church of Christ. Roscoe loved to hunt fish and was a wonderful handyman. He was preceeded in death by his parents Robert and Opha, a brother - Roland Crock Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Judy of the home; 2 sons - Roscoe Vance Wilson of Bugby and Randell Lee Wilson of Nevada; a daughter - Rhonda Webb and husband Marty of Borger; 2 sisters - Linda Kuroki and husband Claude of Borger and Lurlene Seymore of Vidor, TX; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 2 great - great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell, Amarillo, TX 79109
