Rose Ellen Cannefax, 83, of Borger, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Borger.

Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in El Paso, with Rev. Bruce Ridling of the Borger Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Graveside services will be conducted by Sunset Funeral Home of El Paso with a viewing at their Northeast location from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2012.

Rose was born February 5, 1929 in Camberino, New Mexico to Dave Henry and Rose Blatz Bailey. She married Robert C. Cannefax August 28, 1948 in El Paso, and was a homemaker. Rose moved to Borger from Odessa in 1986, and was a member of the Borger Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Robert C. Cannefax of Borger two daughters Jill Griswold and husband Jim, Karen Ann Cannefax, both of Borger a son Craig Cannefax also of Borger, a sister Lillie Mae Lee of El Paso five grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren.
