Rose Lee Ott Munholland, 78 yrs. young, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 30, 2010. Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Tuesday May 4th at Fellowship Baptist with Rev. Don Rice officiating, pastor of Faith Baptist in Fritch . Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. She will lie in state at MintonChatwell in Fritch.
Rose was born March 25, 1932 in Arkansas to Sam and Alphia Ott. She married Elmer Munholland on Dec. 24, 1946 in Latimer County, Oklahoma. Rose was a wonderful cook and no one ever left her home hungry. She fought a long and hard battle with cancer but it didnt take her lifeGod reached down from heaven and took her home. It was her time and Heaven is richer for ouir loss. She was preceded to Heaven by her parents, her husband, a brother J T Ott, grandsons Justin Hodges and Joey Killins, and two beloved soninlaws Bobby Killins and Darrold Mueller.
She is survived by a son Tom Munholland and wife Carol of Amarillo. Six daughters Chum and Jim Castleberry of Borger, Elaine Mueller of Clinton, Oklahoma, Debi Killins of Borger, Connie and Randy Tindall of Borger, Lea Ann and Russell Wilkinson of Amarillo, Penny and Johnny Hodges of Fritch. Special mention goes to Gary Newberry loved by all and Allen Henderson, our other brother. Brothers Mack Ott of Fritch and Henry and Alice Ott of Borger. Nanny Rose has 41 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 2 great great granchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to your church, favorite charity or the American Cancer Society.
