Rose Earline Snow, 83, of Fritch, passed from this life January 1, 2017, in Amarillo, Texas.
Rose was the living embodiment of a Proverbs 31 woman. She was a wife of noble character to her beloved husband, C.W. "Bob" Snow for 67 years. Together they owned Snow's Grocery in Fritch, Texas, for eighteen years. She was a member of the Fritch Church of Christ.
Rose was clothed in strength and dignity, and spoke with wisdom and kindness. She was never idle, even in retirement. Her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her, arose and called her blessed. She had a servant's heart and anyone who entered her home was greeted with a smile and offered something to eat and drink.
Rose has gone to receive the reward she so richly deserved. She finished her race well, even after being stricken with Alzheimer's disease. She just kept pressing toward her heavenly goal and never complained.
Rose is survived by her husband, C.W. "Bob" Snow; three children, Susan Vermillion and husband Tom of Midland, Texas, Cathy Doughten of Amarillo, Texas, and Tom Snow and wife, Lisa of Amarillo, Texas.
Rose is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Fritch Church of Christ, Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 10 am with Mr. Richard Kasko and Mr. Tom Vermillion officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the funeral home in Fritch.
