Roslyn Bunton Watson, 70, of Panhandle, died Tuesday, June 27th in Amarillo, Texas.BR BRMemorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 30th, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Watson of Amarillo and assisted by Dr. Paul Watson of Corpus Christi. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle, Texas.BRBRRoslyn was born to Mildred and Dr. Sam Bunton in Del Rio, Texas on April 2, 1936. She met J. G. Watson of Mineral Wells, Texas at Texas Tech University and they married in Del Rio, Texas on Christmas day, 1954. They moved to Panhandle in 1957.BRBRRoslyn worked in the Carson County Tax office from 1974 until 1998. She was elected and served as Tax Assessor from 1990 until she retired in 1998.BRBRShe is survived by her husband, J. G. Watson of the home, her brother - Wiley Bunton of San Angelo, Tx., her children - Inda Crawford of Lubbock, Danner and Lori Watson of San Dimas, Ca., Shane and Jodie Watson of Stephenville, Tx., and her grandchildren - Joshua Danii of Lewisville, Tx., Caryn of Flower Mound, Tx., Callie and Milly of San Dimas, Ca., and Reece, Eric, Garrett, Cole and Jordan of Stephenville, Tx..BR
