Roy Thrutchley, Jr

Roy Alfred Thrutchley Jr, 97 of Fritch died Friday April 29th in Borger.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Caprock Nursing Center with Chaplain C. W. Parker officiating. Arrangements are under the Direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Roy was born February 27, 1919 in Independence, MO to Roy Sr. and Fleeta Anderson. He was an electrician for the Rock Island Railroad and was also a minister. He served in the US Army Air corps as a Corporal during WWII. He married Dorothy Childers August 11, 1940 in Kansas City, Mo.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Roy is survived by his son Bill Thrutchley of Broken Arrow, OK and a Daughter Peggy Couchman of Fritch. Brothers Joseph of Colorado Springs, CO and Doug of Harrisonville, MO. Sister Roberta Crinzi of Seattle, WA. Seven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Three great- great grandchildren.
