Roy “PeeWee” Davis passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, surrounded by family and friends in the comfort of his son and daughter-in-law’s home.
PeeWee was born in Muleshoe, Texas to Chalmer Leslie Davis and Mary Elizabeth Walters Davis on March 19, 1960. PeeWee is preceded in death by his father, Chalmer Davis; and his horse companion, George. PeeWee is survived by his mother, Mary Davis; daughter, Katy Burdick and husband Chanc; sons, Jake Davis and wife Jesica, Justin Davis and wife Savanah; sisters, Margaret Seales and husband Keith, Carol Davis, Pat Pearson and husband Jay, Annette Newman and husband JoeBob; grandchildren, Emma, Libbie, Jaylee, Walter, Addison, Avery, Kinsley, Paisley, Embyr; and numerous extended family and friends.
PeeWee developed a love for ranching at a young age while helping his dad and dedicated his adult life to working as a ranch hand for Palo Duro Ranch. PeeWee was devoted Ranch Hand, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and friend who loved camping and sitting by the campfire. In addition, he loved babies, riding horses and four-wheelers. PeeWee will be dearly missed but the family comforted knowing he is riding George on the big ranch in the sky.
A celebration of his life will be held from 12 pm to 9 pm come and go Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Double Diamond Clubhouse in Fritch, bring your memories and stories for the family to enjoy.
The family will be gathering at 703 South Vaughn Avenue in Fritch.
