Ruby Lunday

Ruby Holley Lunday, 86 of Fritch passed away in Amarillo on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Boonsville Cemetery, Wise County, TX under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. There will be a visitation of family and friends on Sunday, June 19, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Ruby was born September 4, 1935, in Wise County to Sion DeClemon and Ruby Elizabeth (Lawrence) Holley. She married  G. H. Lunday July 15, 1955, in Borger. She worked as bookkeeper for Texoma Federal Credit Union, Panhandle Bank and Trust and Borger Bank. She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She just liked being outside. She also did quilting and making American doll clothes for her grandchildren. She was a member of the Fritch Arts and Crafts since 1992.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brothers Lawrence Holley and Marlin Holley.

Surviving is her loving husband G. H. Lunday; son Michael Lunday and wife Lorie Jane of Melissa, TX; daughter Gaylea Lundy of Celina, TX; sister Joyce Holley Nail of Aubrey, TX;  grandchildren Jessica, Allison, Micah, and Elizabeth; great grandchildren Ayden and Morgan.
