Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith, 25, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Grace Church with Pastor Gary Horton officiating.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the funeral home.

Ryan was born August 14, 1997, the son of Lynn Smith.  He was a 2015 Borger High School graduate.  Ryan worked as an electrician’s helper for North Texas Electric.  Ryan enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, watching movies, cooking out, and hanging with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret Smith, James Langley; and brother, Randy Alan Price.

Survivors include his mother, Lynn Horton and husband Gary of Borger; father, Scott Bennett of Azle, Texas; sister, Kristen Smith of Borger; stepbrother, Christopher Bennett of Azle, Texas; fiancé, Kelsey Phillips of Stinnett; and his fur babies, Baxter and Bear.
