Samual Benjamin "Benji" "Pockets" Woods, III, 38, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Mr. Clayton White officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Benji was born August 12, 1978 in Pampa to Diann Rasco Woods and Donnie C. Woods. He graduated from White Deer in 1997. Benji was a member of the Palo Duro Lodge and the Shriner Khiva Temple. He was a Master Mason and a 32 degree Mason. Benji was a former volunteer fire fighter. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, casino trips to Oklahoma and his dogs.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Lorien Velasquez in 2008.

Survivors include his father, Donnie C. Woods and Jan of Skellytown; mother, Diann R. Woods of Amarillo; sisters, Leslie Woods Roe, Michelle Luster both of Skellytown, Sheila Helms of Pampa, Samantha Gassen of Tuttle, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
