Seth Andrew Brown, 55, courageously finished his fight December 5th, 2023. His memorial service will be held Sunday, December 10th at 4:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 108 Broadmoor St in Borger, TX.
Seth was born July 3rd, 1968 in Amarillo, TX to Joseph Brown and Jean (Brasher) Brown. On April 6th, 1986 he made the best decision of his life when he dedicated his life to Jehovah God by water baptism. On November 17th, 1990, he made the second best decision of his life when he married Shawna Rene’ Curley.
Recently, they happily celebrated 33 years of marriage. Some of their best memories were made spending quality time at the ranch with their very dear friends. Together they had the privilege of volunteering at many theocratic construction projects nationwide. Seth’s favorite being in Warwick, NY.
Even in his final years he increased his ministry further. He loved sharing comforting scriptures with others and desired to study the Bible with as many as possible. Despite his serious illness and own troubles, he always was a source of comfort and encouragement to others. He had a knack for bringing laughter and joy into any setting. His unending quick wit could effortlessly turn any situation into a source of amusement. His sarcastic remarks and lighthearted banter was legendary, bringing smiles to the faces of everyone he encountered. Most would agree he would do anything for a laugh! He had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need. He will be missed dearly by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Jean Brown; and sister Angie.
Survivors include his dear wife Shawna; brothers, Jody Brown and wife Cris of Denton, TX, Joel Brown of Borger, TX, Gideon Brown and wife Hannah of Irvine, CA; sisters, Dawn Dailey of Baytown, TX, Dana Sanders and husband Doug of Guthrie, OK, Cali Brown of Guthrie, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; and an innumerable number of extended spiritual family.
