Sherry Traylor

Sherry Vivian Traylor, 47, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Fritch.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Grace Church in Borger with Associate Pastor Tim Hall of Grace, Pastor Bill Browning of Broadway Baptist Church of Fritch officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Sherry was born on May 13, 1964 in Amarillo and had lived in Fritch for 18 years. She married Denzil Traylor on August 16, 1985 in Dallas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed photography. Her family was her life. She participated in all school activities, enjoyed working with the EMS, and enjoyed camping and riding with her husband, Denzil on his motorcycle.

She was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Downs, Sr.

Sherry is survived by her mother Tina Stewart Hall of Borger, husband Denzil Traylor of the home, two sons Denzil Ray Traylor and Kendall Ray Traylor and his wife Kaylee all of Midland, three daughters Ashley Cummings and husband Adam and Brandy Traylor all of Canyon, Krystle LeAmber Traylor of Midland, three brothers Jimmy Darrell Downs, Jr. of Pampa, Jamie Shane Downs of Amarillo, Justin Stewart Downs of Borger, and five grandchildren.
