Shirley Daniell

Shirley Ruth Daniell, 58, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Her memory may be honored with a gift to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004; Methodist Children's Home, 1111 Herring Avenue, Waco, Texas 76708; Aiden's Closet, c/o Golden Plains Community Hospital, 100 Medical Drive, Borger, TX 79007; or the SPCA, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212.

Shirley was born February 5, 1956 in Borger to Wayne and Irene Walston. She graduated from Sanford Fritch High School. Shirley worked as a registered nurse at Golden Plains Community Hospital. She had a big heart, quick witted sense of humor, loved taking care of people and loved animals.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Guy Wayne Walston.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jack Daniell of the home; son, Allen Daniell and wife, Maureen of Austin; mother-in-law, Ann Lott of Amarillo; sisters-in-law, Denise Johnson and husband, Perry of Amarillo, Cindy Walston of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Mike and Heather Durham; their children, Kylie, Braxton and Mason all of Saskatoon, Mike and Sue Giesler; their children, David, Monica and Aaron, Lupe and Andy Lovato; their children, April and Andy, Donnie and Jan Bell; and their children; and a host of friends at Golden Plains Community Hospital.
