Shirley Temple Williams, 76, of Borger, died Monday, November 12, 2012 in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Celebration Family Church with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Shirley was born May 19, 1936 in Roxton, Texas to Grover and Mable Lee Sims . She was a Borger resident since 1952 coming from the Roxton, Cooper Texas area. Shirley married Elva Lee Williams June 28, 1952 in Oklahoma, and was a member of the Jim Hall Street Church of Christ. She worked at Borger Laundry, Vogue Cleaners, Spring Fresh Cleaners, and Sutphens Barbeque. Shirley loved being involved with children and helping the elderly.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband August 6, 2000.

Survivors include three daughters Charlotte Williams of Houston, Sharon Thorp of Dallas, Modina Smith of Borger four sons Don Williams of Dallas, Elva Williams Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia, Chester Williams, and Daral Williams both of Borger three sisters Florine Wright of Cedar Hill, Mary Jo Henry, and Merl Avery both of Flint, Michigan a brother Clonzell Sims of Midland 11 grandchildren Tyrone Williams and wife Misty, Jairus Thorp and wife Brittany, Travis Williams and wife Britni, Anton Thorp, Ebony Jarrett, Javaughn Williams, Jylyn Williams, Tabitha Williams, Jazzlyn Williams, Jonathon Williams, Shane Williams, eight greatgrandsons, and two greatgranddaughters.

Family will be at 1800 Yows in Borger.
