Sondra Ray

Sondra Kaye Ray, 76, died February 14, 2015 in Bozeman, Montana. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Denny Sneed, Minister officiating. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dozier Cemetery (South of Shamrock) under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Kaye was born January 7, 1939 in Abra, TX to G. R. and Callie May Davis Buckner. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger and had lived in Borger 40 years before moving to Bozeman, Montana to be close to her son. She had been a volunteer at Golden Plains Hospital and enjoyed being involved with community affairs. Kaye was very active in the SPCA, as well as the Borger Chamber of Commerce. She was also a member of Adelante Club.

She is survived by her son Chris Ray of Bozeman, MT and her grandchildren Sean, Callie and Westin, her brother Tommy Buckner and his wife Sue of New Mexico and her sister Rozelle Taylor of Tucson, AZ.
