Sonny was born January 30, 1936 in Trinidad, Tx to Tom and Etta Mae Quinn Bradley. Sonny "Sunshine" was a ray of sunshine and light to all who knew him. He was voted Most Courteous in high school, a trait that he carried his entire life.

Sonny met Marilyn, the love of his life in a cafe, where she worked. Boldly he asked, "How am I going to go with you if you are working all of the time?" That was the beginning of their love story. They married on February 16th, 1957. They would have been married 60 years in February.

He served in the US Air Force from 1958 to 1962, where he was a Hydrolic Engine Mechanic. Sonny worked as a mechanic and truck driver before working as an Operator and Plant Manager at Air Liquide America for 26 years before retiring in 2000.

Sonny and Marilyn have two children Scott and Mitzi. Sonny was a man of select words that led his family by example. Their kids said their parents were amazing examples of love and marriage. Sonny always had a smile on his face and was one of the kindest men one has ever met.

They relocated to Borger in 1984 from Deer Park, Tx. and were members of Fairlanes Baptist Church. Sonny and Marilyn had many friends who they loved spending time with. Sonny was an great Pop Pop who loved watching his grandchildren play sports and perform on stage. He collected coins, admired old cars, and went to estate antique auctions. He enjoyed road trips to Houston & Colorado to visit his kids & grandkids.

In retirement, one of the best parts of his day was getting up early to go meet the McDonalds Coffee Shop Crew. There he developed so many friendships while solving the problems of the world.

Sonny is preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby.
